Profil PPH
The Halal Assurance Law No. 33 of 2014, supported by Government Regulation No. 31 of 2019 and Minister of Religious Affairs Regulation No. 26 of 2019 on the implementation of halal product assurance, mandates that all food products circulating in Indonesia must be halal-certified. Hasanuddin University, as the largest university in the eastern region of Indonesia, strongly supports the government’s efforts to ensure that all food products in Indonesia comply with halal certification requirements. This aligns with Hasanuddin University’s vision and mission as a center of excellence in human development, science, technology, arts, and culture, based on the Indonesian Maritime Continent. The establishment of the Halal Inspection Institution at Hasanuddin University is one of the university’s initiatives to support the government in ensuring halal-certified food products.
